Also called isolation platforms, isolation plinths are used when your equipment needs more isolation between it and its resting point, e.g. the floor or hi fi rack level. Part of Hi Fi Racks' multi award-winning Podium range, the Podium isolation plinths help enhance your equipment's sound quality and acoustic performance by reducing vibrations.

Each size is commonly used in two different ways, with 22mm plinths often placed onto the top or middle tiers of a rack for extra isolation, improving the quality of sound in virtually all hi-fi components such as turntables, CD players, streamers and amplifiers.

The 40mm thickness is ideal for use on the floor with isolation spikes for equipment such as speakers and heavy amps that you don't want to place directly onto the floor or on the rack itself.
