You'll find all the Hallmarks of Hi Fi Racks quality in the Podium Slimline rack. Each product is individually handmade in the Hi Fi Racks workshop from solid oak and manufactured to the highest standards of British craftsmanship, while sharing many features with the multi award-winning Podium Reference.

Every tier is manufactured from 22mm solid oak hardwood, offering a slim, streamlined and highly stable rack with enhanced vibration control and sonic transparency from the natural qualities of this material. The Podium Slimline comes with 32 mm² hardwood legs, which are removable for future upgrading and can be made to any length, enabling you to have the rack tailor-made to fit your equipment perfectly with appropriate clearance for your equipment for effective heat dispersal.

Part of Hi Fi Racks bespoke range, the Podium Slimline can be made to any width or depth, made to the exact millimetre of your specifications. We don’t charge a premium for a bespoke size, just the cubic millimetre cost in line with HI FI Racks standard sizes.

The Podium Slimline offers modular construction, meaning you can add new tiers and change leg lengths as your system grows and changes.

Each tier is capable of supporting 70kg.

Please check internal measurements of rack and external measurements of equipment to ensure the correct fit for your set-up.


Leg length

When selecting the appropriate leg height for your rack; this is the clearance between the two plinths. Please note that this does not include the thickness of the plinths (22mm). Any leg length is available at no extra cost, enabling you to specify the exact length to meet your requirements.

Only the Base legs (floor to first plinth) on the Podium Slimline rack come with spikes, so please bear this in mind when selecting your base leg length as this will include the 15mm spike. However, you can specify to have no spike.

Base leg (floor to first plinth) heights with no spike can be a minimum height of 50mm. A minimum height with a spike is 65mm.

Please allow adequate space above your HiFi equipment for heat ventilation and check your manufacturers manual for recommendation for effective heat dispersal. Without adequate space this can cause significant damage to both your component and rack.

If you own a valve amp, or any other particularly hot component, we highly recommend this component is placed onto a standalone tier or placed on the top tier and not placed on an internal shelf to ensure no damage occurs.

Any component that doesn’t have adequate space and causes damage to the rack will not be liable for replacing. Please see FAQ’s for more information


LP Pack

This offers a tidy storage solution for your vinyl records. When selecting this addition, one of the tiers will be allocated to create this offering, incorporating two extra legs on each side with a rear crossbar for support. This can be made to fit any width and depth. Please note that if you select this option one of the tiers will be allocated to the LP pack. You may wish to add an additional tier for this option if you require the other tiers to fit your equipment.


Isolations

Isolations for the Podium Slimline Hi Fi Rack are manufactured from 22mm thickness plinths, available in solid oak and a selection of oak finishes to match your rack.
