Ludic Baerwald Alignment protractor allows you to check your cartridge is correctly aligned in your tonearm.
An incorrectly aligned phono cartridge can result in premature cartridge and record wear.
Despite what some manufacturers claim, correct overhang length and alignment is critical to obtaining proper audio reproduction without distortion and avoiding unnecessary record and stylus wear.
This is a precision task and cannot be done by eye or guess work alone.
You will only be able to enjoy the best possible sound from your cartridge when properly aligned.
The mirrored surface makes all measurements easier and more accurate. The mirror’s parallax effect allows the elimination of sighting errors, and provides better lighting, critical in making fine adjustments on small parts.
Simply place this alignment gauge over your turntable spindle, move your phono cartridge over the grid, and make sure it is correctly aligned before tightening it to your tonearm.
